I'm Ajax and I run Ajax Anvil Co., a creative studio in Columbus making murals, brand identities, packaging, and merch for restaurants, breweries, and consumer brands.
The best work comes from digging into the cross section of what actually makes you you. So much of life happens behind a screen now. The places worth leaving the house for are the ones that feel like somebody meant it.
What I Make
BRAND IDENTITY
The whole visual world of your business: logo systems, color and type, menus, signage, packaging direction. I build identities that hold up everywhere you show up, from a storefront to a phone screen to a trade show floor. Most projects start here, and everything else gets easier once it's settled.
MURALS & PLACEMAKING
Placemaking with the right creative vision and some paint. Interior and exterior murals for restaurants, breweries, retail, and libraries, plus storefronts and trade show booths. I work from your business goals, not just the wall, so the finished piece pulls people in and gives them a reason to take a picture.
MERCH & PACKAGING
I spent ten years in apparel before this, which means I know how things actually get made. Apparel, packaging, print, and the small stuff that carries a brand further than an ad does. The goal is merch people keep and packaging that earns its shelf, not landfill with your logo on it.
